Nexus BoardViewer

The boardviewer is capable of the following: it supports layers, dual mode view (2 independent views that allow you to work from both sides simultaneously), AI Assistant (supported providers are: Codex CLI, Claude Code, Antigravity CLI, and OpenCode), AI integration through MCP, indexed PDFs and boardviews search, signal tracing, full-fledged HiDPI support, tabs, board editor, key bindings editor, theme editor, notes, bookmarks, it also supports PDF (two-way navigation is possible: from the board to the PDF, and from the PDF to the board), it's fast, portable, it has familiar and intuitive UI and more. You have to try it yourself to discover all its possibilities 😊 For the time being, the project is under active development, so new features will be coming soon. The boardviewer is free, however please consider to make a donation if you found the software useful and would like to support the development of it. Currently supported formats: .A3P, .ASC, .BDV, .BRD (Toptest/Landrex/Mentor Neutral File/Allegro + layers), .BV, .BVR, .CAD (GenCAD, Fabmaster CAD), .CAE, .CST, .F2B, .FAZ, .FZ, .GR, .PCB (XZZPCB + layers), .TVW (+ layers) For Allegro board files prior to version 16 (which are quite rare), a converter (dbdoctor) will be offered to download to convert older files to a newer format. Allegro versions 16–25 are supported natively. Minimal OS: Win 10 x64/Win11 (Windows 7 is supported, but not actively maintained)

- Added AI Assistant (Codex CLI, and OpenCode are supported). You can now use AI directly in the boardviewer without connecting through MCP.
- When AI Assistant is enabled, three new options appear in the context menu when you right-click a component in the boardview: Find datasheet
with AI, Find equivalent with AI, and Describe with AI. Right-clicking a pin also offers the Find the source of the net with AI
- Added a new feature for opening PDF board layouts as boardviews (these are typically PDF board files with "bv" or "boardview" in the filename)
- Improved PDF viewer responsiveness
- Added incremental search to the PDF viewer. This feature can be enabled or disabled in Options > PDF Viewer > Search as you type
- Added Animate the active search result to the PDF viewer. This feature can be enabled or disabled in Options > PDF Viewer > Animate the active search result
- Added support for opening a boardview–PDF pair by dragging the boardview file onto the PDF viewer window
- Improved BRD (Allegro, TopTest), GenCAD, Mentor CAD parsers (existing index require Sync index)
- Added support for opening incomplete Allegro BRD files
- Undo/Redo are now "Go Back" and "Go Forward" and behave like navigation history. Long-pressing or right-clicking a Back/Forward button opens a
history menu containing previously selected components, pins, or nets. Zoom and pan positions are also preserved
- Improved the Options window at high display scaling (added scrolling)
- Added a new option in General > Show pin names only on component selection or hover
- Improved notes editor
- The Note field in the Board editor is now multiline
- Other minor fixes and improvements

- Добавлен ИИ-ассистент (поддерживаются Codex CLI, OpenCode). Теперь можно использовать ИИ прямо в боардвьювере без подключения через MCP.
- При включённом ИИ-ассистенте при нажатии правой кнопкой мыши на компонент в боардвью в контекстном меню появятся три новых пункта:
"Найти даташит с помощью ИИ", "Найти аналог с помощью ИИ" и "Описать с помощью ИИ". При нажатии правой кнопкой мыши на пин также становится
доступен пункт "Найти источник цепи с помощью ИИ".
- Добавлена новая функция открытия PDF борд как боардвью (обычно это PDF файлы содержащие "bv" или "boardview" в имени файла)
- Улучшена отзывчивость PDF-вьювера
- В PDF-вьювер добавлен инкрементальный поиск. Данную функцию можно включить или отключить в Options > PDF Viewer > Search as you type
- В PDF-вьювер добавлена функция Анимировать активный результат поиска. Данную функцию можно включить или отключить в Options > PDF Viewer > Animate active search result
- Добавлена возможность открывать связку бордвью–PDF перетаскиванием файла бордвью в окно PDF-просмотрщика
- Улучшены парсеры: BRD (Allegro, TopTest), GenCAD, Mentor CAD (для существующего индекса необходимо выполнить Sync index)
- Добавлена поддержка открытия неполных Allegro BRD файлов
- Команды Undo/Redo переименованы в "Go Back" и "Go Forward" и теперь работают как история навигации. Долгое нажатие или щелчок правой кнопкой мыши по кнопке "Go Back"/"Go Forward" открывает
